Stone Properties:
Crazy Lace Agate
Agate raises awareness and links into the collective consciousness of the oneness of life. It encourages contemplation of one's life experiences that lead to spiritual growth and inner stability. [Hall, 39][Melody, 82]
Crazy Lace Agate is called the Laughter Stone, or "Happy Lace." It is associated with sunny Mexican fiestas and dancing, and brings joy to those who wear it. [Eason, 305] It is not a stone of protection, but of support and encouragement, elevating thoughts and promoting optimism. Its graceful design, in random lacy patterns, creates a circular flow of energy, stimulating for the mind and attitude.
Turquoise
In traditional thought, Turquoise unites the earth and sky, bringing together male and female energies. [Hall, 306]Turquoise stimulates the initiation of romantic love, and promotes spontaneity in romantic issues. It is believed to change color to warn of impending danger or to indicate infidelity in thought or action. [Melody, 669]
Spiritually, Turquoise heals and cleanses both the energy centers and the physical body. It acts to induce wisdom and understanding, and to enhance trust, kindness, and the recognition of beauty. [Melody, 669] What we wish for ourselves -- happiness, love, freedom of limitation and fear -- when extended to others by letting go of our insistence of “justice” and viewing others through compassion and forgiveness, we receive those gifts back through our own heart. [Simmons, 420]
Turquoise enhances the ability to see all aspects of ourselves, good and bad, and to integrate these aspects into a cohesive whole. While it is tempting to try and rid ourselves of the traits of self that are not entirely enlightened, Turquoise, like an ancient Grandfather ally, reminds us that all experiences are valid and that mistakes are simply another experience. Wholeness can only come when we are willing to embrace all of who we are and what we have learned. [Ahsian, 420]
Imperial Jasper
This gemstone helps to reduce insecurities and fears while providing protection. Jasper is protective. It can align all the chakras and balance yin yang energies, it is stabilizing and healing. Jasper is a fairly common stone, and it is generally worn or carried to promote mental processes and to restrain dangerous desires or whims that may lead to hazardous situations.
Lava
Properties: The elemental powers of fire and earth, lava rocks are rich in minerals from deep in the earth's core. Born of fire, these molten creations raise to the surface and become porous creations of earth. Fire is one of the four classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy and science. It was commonly associated with the qualities of energy, assertiveness, and passion, while earth was commonly associated with qualities of practicality, restraint and materialism.
Lava rocks embrace both elements. These red and black lava rocks are a wonderful tool for the root chakra. The can be used for grounding, protection and making a connection to the earth. They allow us to "root" scattered energy, find focus and bring balance to our center by embracing practicality. This stone is beneficial when your 1st and/or 2nd chakras are energetically weak. They encourage stimulation.
